Medically Supervised Hormone Therapy

Hormone Replacement Therapy

Labs first, an honest conversation second, a plan third

THE TREATMENT

Hormone therapy, done properly

Hormone replacement therapy uses prescription hormones to address symptoms of hormonal decline, including fatigue, sleep disruption, mood changes, brain fog, and reduced libido. It begins with lab testing and a full symptom assessment, requires ongoing medical monitoring, and carries risks that your provider will review with you before you begin.

Hormone levels shift with age, and for many people the symptoms are real and disruptive: persistent fatigue, poor sleep, mood changes, brain fog, and a general sense of not feeling like yourself. HRT addresses those symptoms by restoring hormone levels, and for the right person it can make a substantial difference.

It is also prescription therapy with real risks and real contraindications, and it isn’t right for everyone. Your therapy starts with lab testing and a detailed symptom assessment. Our clinical team reviews your history, your labs, and your risk factors, then has an honest conversation with you about whether HRT makes sense, what it can and can’t do, and what the risks are. If we proceed, we monitor you throughout and adjust as needed.

  1. TestYou start with lab work and a detailed symptom assessment. We need to know what your hormones are actually doing before anyone talks about treating them.
  2. DiscussOur clinical team reviews your labs, history, and risk factors with you, and talks honestly about whether HRT is appropriate, what to expect, and what the risks are.
  3. MonitorIf we proceed, we build a plan and monitor you throughout with follow-up labs and adjustments. Hormone therapy without ongoing supervision isn't safe.

Start with labs and an honest conversation

We'll test your hormones, review your history and risks, and tell you honestly whether HRT is right for you. Sometimes the answer is no.

Why it works

What hormone therapy can address

Symptom relief, for the right candidate

HRT is used to address symptoms of hormonal decline: fatigue, poor sleep, mood changes, brain fog, and reduced libido.

When hormone levels are genuinely the cause, restoring them can make a real difference. When they aren't, HRT won't fix the problem, and we'll tell you that.

Labs before any prescription

Every plan starts with lab testing and a full symptom assessment.

You cannot treat hormones you haven't measured. Anyone prescribing hormone therapy without labs is guessing, and guessing with hormones has consequences.

An honest conversation about risk

Hormone therapy carries real risks, and your provider will review them with you in full before you begin.

Risk depends on your age, your health history, the hormones involved, and how they're delivered. This is a conversation, not a checkbox, and it's the part most clinics skip.

Monitored throughout

We track your labs and your symptoms, and adjust your plan as you go.

Hormone levels change, and so do you. Ongoing monitoring is what makes this medical care rather than a recurring prescription.

Part of a broader protocol

Hormones are one input into how you feel, not the only one.

Sleep, movement, nutrition, and stress all shape the same symptoms HRT addresses. We can build the rest of your protocol around your plan with Peptide & NAD+ Therapy, GLP-1 Therapy or IV Hydration Therapy.

In Their Words

What clients say

“They ran full labs before anyone mentioned a prescription, and walked me through the risks properly. That's not what happened at the last place I went.”

Karen, 53  •  North Scottsdale

“My provider told me my symptoms probably weren't hormonal and sent me to get something else checked. They could have just sold me testosterone.”

Michael, 56  •  Paradise Valley

“The follow-up labs and check-ins are the part that made me trust it. Someone is actually watching.”

Dana, 51  •  Biltmore

Hormone therapy questions, answered

What is hormone replacement therapy?

HRT uses prescription hormones to address symptoms caused by hormonal decline, including fatigue, sleep disruption, mood changes, brain fog, and reduced libido. It's used in perimenopause, menopause, and age-related hormone shifts in both men and women. It requires lab testing, a prescription, and ongoing medical monitoring.

What are the risks of hormone therapy?

HRT carries real risks, and they depend on your age, your health history, which hormones are involved, and how they're delivered. Depending on the therapy, risks can include cardiovascular events, blood clots, stroke, and certain cancers. This is why lab testing, a full medical history, and an honest risk conversation come before any prescription. Your provider will review the specific risks that apply to you before you begin.

Is HRT right for everyone?

No. Hormone therapy isn't appropriate for everyone, and there are conditions and histories that rule it out entirely. It's also possible that your symptoms have a cause other than hormones. Our clinical team will tell you honestly if HRT isn't right for you, or if something else should be investigated first.

Do I need lab work first?

Yes, always. Hormone levels have to be measured before they can be treated. Any provider prescribing hormone therapy without lab work is guessing, and hormones aren't something to guess with. Follow-up labs are part of the plan, not an extra.

What about "bioidentical" hormones?

"Bioidentical" describes hormones structurally identical to the ones your body produces. Some are FDA-approved. Others are compounded by pharmacies, and compounded hormones are not FDA-approved, meaning their dosing and purity aren't verified the way approved medications are. The FDA has issued warnings about safety claims made for compounded bioidentical hormones. Your provider will explain exactly what's being prescribed, whether it's FDA-approved, and why.

How are hormones delivered?

Depending on the plan, hormones may be delivered as topical creams, injections, or pellet implants. Each has different considerations, and pellets in particular can't be adjusted or removed easily once placed. Your provider will discuss the tradeoffs and recommend what fits your situation.

How long will I be on hormone therapy?

That depends on your symptoms, your labs, your risk profile, and your goals. HRT is typically ongoing rather than a short course, and the risk profile can change with duration and age. This is something to revisit with your provider over time, not a decision made once.

Will HRT help me lose weight or build muscle?

HRT isn't a weight loss or performance treatment. Hormone levels influence body composition, but restoring them isn't a substitute for nutrition, movement, and sleep, and we won't prescribe hormone therapy for that purpose. If weight management is your goal, we'll talk about what actually addresses it.

How do I get started?

Book a consultation. We'll order lab work, review your symptoms and health history, and have an honest conversation about whether hormone therapy is right for you.

"Hormone health shapes how we age, think, sleep, and feel. But hormone therapy is real medicine with real risks, and it deserves to be treated that way: labs first, an honest conversation about whether it's appropriate, and monitoring throughout. Done properly, it can be genuinely life-changing. Done casually, it's dangerous."
