HBOT at 2.0 ATA

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Clinical-grade pressure, not a soft-shell approximation

THE TREATMENT

Oxygen, delivered under real pressure

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy has you breathe oxygen inside a pressurized chamber, which dissolves oxygen directly into your blood plasma rather than only into red blood cells, saturating tissue with far more oxygen than is possible at normal pressure. bluSONIL's chamber operates at 2.0 ATA, and sessions run 60, 75, or 90 minutes.

Pressure is what makes hyperbaric therapy work, and it’s where most wellness HBOT falls short. Many soft-shell chambers run at around 1.3 ATA, barely above sea level. Our chamber reaches 2.0 ATA, the pressure range used in clinical hyperbaric practice, which is what allows oxygen to dissolve into blood plasma and reach tissue that red blood cells alone can’t service efficiently.

Our chamber is built by One Hyperbarics, EU-manufactured and CE-certified, with doctor-designed protocols. Inside, sessions are calm and comfortable. You can relax, read, listen to music, or simply unwind while your body absorbs oxygen. There’s no downtime, and the benefits build with regular sessions.

  1. Settle inYou enter the chamber and get comfortable. Our team walks you through what to expect and stays in contact throughout.
  2. PressurizeThe chamber gradually increases to 2.0 ATA. You may feel a light pressure in your ears, like a plane descending. Breathing stays completely normal.
  3. AbsorbOver 60 to 90 minutes, oxygen dissolves into your blood plasma and saturates your tissue. Relax, read, or listen to music while it works.

Why it works

What HBOT does for your body

2.0 ATA, not 1.3

Our chamber reaches 2.0 ATA, the pressure range used in clinical hyperbaric practice.

Most wellness HBOT uses soft-shell chambers at around 1.3 ATA. Pressure is the entire mechanism, it's what drives oxygen into blood plasma, so the difference isn't a detail. It's the treatment.

Supports healing and recovery

Elevated oxygen supports circulation, tissue repair, and the body's inflammatory response.

It's why HBOT is used for recovery from hard training, injury, and physical demand, and why the modality has decades of clinical research behind it.

Saturates tissue with oxygen

Under pressure, oxygen dissolves into blood plasma, not just red blood cells.

That reaches tissue red blood cells can't service as efficiently, which is the foundation of every other benefit on this list.

Supports cellular energy and repair

Oxygen is what mitochondria use to produce ATP, the energy every cell runs on.

Supporting cellular energy production is foundational to how the body repairs itself, which is why HBOT sits at the center of a longevity practice.

Calm, comfortable, no downtime

Sessions are relaxing. Read, listen to music, or rest while the chamber works.

You walk out and return to your day. Nothing to recover from, which is what makes a regular practice realistic.

Supports recovery after treatments

HBOT is used after resurfacing treatments to support the skin's healing.

Ask your provider about timing it around Laser Treatments, Red Light Therapy or Cryotherapy. Sequencing matters, HBOT is scheduled after a Halo session, not before.

In Their Words

What clients say

“I did HBOT after my Halo and the recovery was noticeably faster than my provider prepared me for. Now it's part of the protocol.”

Good to know

HBOT questions, answered

What is hyperbaric oxygen therapy?

HBOT has you breathe oxygen inside a pressurized chamber. Under pressure, oxygen dissolves directly into your blood plasma rather than only binding to red blood cells, saturating your tissue with more oxygen than is possible at normal pressure. Sessions at bluSONIL run 60, 75, or 90 minutes.

What pressure does your chamber run at?

Our chamber reaches 2.0 ATA. This matters more than any other spec. Many wellness HBOT chambers are soft-shell units running around 1.3 ATA, barely above sea-level pressure. Pressure is the mechanism that drives oxygen into blood plasma, so the difference between 1.3 and 2.0 ATA is the difference in what the treatment can actually do.

What does it feel like inside the chamber?

Comfortable and calm. As the chamber pressurizes you may feel light pressure in your ears, similar to a plane descending, which clears by swallowing or yawning. After that, breathing is completely normal. Most people read, listen to music, or rest.

How long is a session, and which length should I choose?

We offer 60, 75, and 90 minute sessions. Longer sessions mean more time at pressure. Our team helps you choose based on your goals and experience, and many people start at 60 minutes and build up.

Is HBOT safe?

HBOT is well-tolerated by most healthy adults, and our chamber is EU-manufactured and CE-certified with built-in safety systems. It isn't appropriate for everyone, including people with certain lung conditions, recent ear surgery, or specific medical histories. Our team screens you before your first session, and you should check with your doctor if you have a medical condition.

How often should I do HBOT?

The benefits are cumulative. Some people come regularly as part of a longevity or recovery practice, others use a concentrated series around an event, an injury, or a treatment. Our team helps you build a schedule around your goals.

Can I do HBOT after a laser treatment?

Yes, and it's one of the best uses for it. HBOT supports the skin's recovery after resurfacing treatments like Halo. Timing matters: HBOT is scheduled after the laser session, not before. Ask your provider when to book it.

Is HBOT a medical treatment?

HBOT has approved medical uses that are delivered in a clinical setting under physician supervision. At bluSONIL, HBOT is offered as a wellness service supporting recovery, cellular function, and longevity. It isn't a treatment for a medical condition, and it isn't a substitute for medical care.

"Oxygen is central to cellular function, recovery, and longevity. By increasing oxygen absorption at a deep, biological level, hyperbaric therapy supports healing, helps manage inflammation, and supports how the brain and body perform at every stage of life."
